History marks

The oldest meat-processing enterprise of Russia begins the history since 1932 when the Board of All-union association of the state meat industry «Sousmyaso» had been approved the detailed design on building-up of Verhneudinsky meat canning plant. In 1937 the mechanised meat processing plant - the first-born of the meat industry in the east of the country, has been placed in operation. This day is birthday of the Ulan-Udensky meat canning plant.

In days of the Great Patriotic War the enterprise collective has shown patriotism and high organisation. Since 1941 on present time «Buryatmyasprom» carries a proud rank of the official supplier of a canned meat for needs of the Ministry of Defence and the State reserve of the Russian Federation.

«Buryatmyasprom» is the unique enterprise in Republics Buryatiya to which for the big contribution to business of a food supply of Red Army and Navy fleet in 1946 the Banner of the State Committee of Defense of the USSR has been passed to eternal storage.

The Ulan-Udensky meat canning plant - one of the enterprises made the big impact on post-war industrial development of republic. The plant made about 2 percent of all-union industrial production of meat and over 10 percent of a canned meat.

 In 1966 for preschedule fulfilment of the seven-year plan, introduction of new engineering and technology and for achievement of high technological indicators the plant has been awarded by the higher government award - "Lenin's Award".

In 1993 the Ulan-Udensky meat canning plant has been renamed into limited liability corporation «Buryatmyasprom».

In November, 2008, having replaced the organisation-legal form, limited liability corporation «Buryatmyasprom»  continues activity on production and realisation of meat, meat food, a sausage goods, meat canned food.

1932-1940

In the autumn 1932 in several kilometres from Ulan-Ude, in a taiga, on small railway travel, plant's building-up begins. Already in 1935 the refrigerator has been put in operation, in 1936 clearing and sewer structures, a waterpipe, a sausage manufacturing plant complex are placed in operation.

1935 - the refrigerator is put in operation.

1936 - the sausage manufacturing plant complex is put in operation.

1937 - prelethal base, a diseased animal slaughter house, engineering workshops, meat-fatty case are placed in operation. Plumbing and sanitary system, station of biological cleansing of drainages is involved.

In 1940 the number of acting productions included a preserving plant.

1941-1945

In days of the Great Patriotic War workers of a Ulan-Udensky meat-processing plant have deposited the contribution to a general victory. 500 workers have left on front from plant.

In 1941 enterprise has received the order for production of canning production for the State reserve and the Russian Army.

In days of war at plant basically women, pensioners and teenagers worked. It was possible not only save and increase rates of production, but also to adjust output of product innnovations - food concentrates, soap, dry fining agent, regimentals (short fur coats, caps, fur mittens) and other production for needs of front. 2000 kits of breast-bands and bridles, 20000 metres of  a cord, 350 tons of a laundry soap, 10 million buttons, 1000 steams of valenoks, 2000 pieces of felt are produced.

The collective of the Ulan-Udensky meat-processing plant participated in patriotic movement on raising of money on building-up of arms and the military engineering for army. More than two millions roubles workers of a meat-processing plant have deposited to nation-wide fund of defence.

Heroic work of collective of our enterprise and its contribution to the Victory common cause have been highly appreciated by the country leaders. From 1942 on 1945 collective have been handed over:

Banner of the State Committee of Defense of the USSR - 4 times

Banner of the All-Union Central Council of Trade Unions and the Ministry of Defence of the USSR - 14 times

Lenin's Award - the director of plant  Kalachev M. I., the Award «Honour Sign» - 5 persons, medals - 615 persons are awarded.

1946-1950

For the big contribution to business of a food supply of Red Army and Navy fleet in days of the Great Patriotic War in 1946 the Banner of the State Committee of Defense of the USSR is passed the enterprise to eternal storage.

In 1946 enterprise the children's improving camp "Baikal" possessed in a picturesque corner of the nature on the bank of lake Baikal is constructed and placed in operation.

In 1948 the Palace of culture in which visual, lecture, reading, sports halls placed, library is opened.

1966

For preschedule fulfilment of the seven-year plan, introduction of new engineering and achievement of high technological indicators of job the Ulan-Udensky meat-canning plant is awarded the higher award of the USSR Lenin's by Award.

1990-1999

Visit of the President of the Russian Federation B.N.Yeltsin on the Ulan-Udensky meat-canning plant on May, 29th, 1992.

Technologists of the enterprise develop and introduce into production sausage cooked smoked "Ulan-Udensky" which became an enterprise brand, the student of every possible competitions and exhibitions, the winner of competitions of "100 best goods of Russia», «10 best goods of Buryatiya».

Special pride of the enterprise - canning production. Well-known «Buryat canned food» is one of Republic Buryatiya brands. Traditional, stable quality of canning production know not only in Russia, but also abroad (Cuba, Korea, Hungary, Mongolia, Japan).

In 1995 at the enterprise there has been begun a panification.

Origin and development of a network of firm shops of the enterprise became one of the most progressive and perspective directions of development of trade.

2000 - today

Sausage manufacturing plant equipment by the modern process equipment is spent, allowing to introduce and support modern technologies and achievements in production of meat food.

For the last decade technologists of the enterprise develop and introduce such sausages as a cervelat "Muscat", sausage with cheese, sausages "May", "Siberian", "Sayansk", "Cossack", "Slavic", "Verhneudinsky", a ham "Special", «Extra», "Baikal", "Russian", "Ulan-Udensky". There has been begun output of gourmet foods from pork, beef, horse meat and mutton.

In production of canning production there were own workings out of a canned meat: "Ulan-Udensky", «the Ulan-Udensky special», "Country", a pate «Classical from a liver», forcemeat "Baikal", gruel "Seigniorial" with various range of groats (rice, buckwheat, pearl, millet) with meat of pork, beef and mutton.

The enterprise is certified by service of the Russian agricultural supervision for Republic Buryatiya and veterinary science Management on Republics Buryatiya and has the permission to method, storage and processing of import meat raw materials.

At factory the certified industrial laboratory into which staff competent microbiologists enter, engineers-chemists, laboratorians works. The laboratory spends an obligatory quality control, as enterprise of raw materials acting on territory and auxiliary materials, and made production.

For the last decade the enterprise more than fifty times participated in the international and Russian exhibitions, fairs and competitions, was awarded by various medals and cups, became the winner and the student.

Sharing in the All-Russia exhibition «the Russian manufacturers and stocking of Armed forces» (Moscow, 2004).

In November 2008, having replaced the organisation-legal form, limited liability corporation "Buryatmyasprom" has continued traditions of production and realisation of meat, meat food, a sausage goods and gourmet foods, meat and мясорастительных canned food, semi-products.
